EUDR Clear exists because ~275,000 importing operators — most of them SMEs — face the same geolocation and due-diligence duty, and the tooling shouldn't require an enterprise budget or a law degree.
THE PROBLEM WE SAW
The EUDR moved plot-level geolocation from nice-to-have to mandatory — for coffee cooperatives and rubber importers alike. Every covered shipment now needs deforestation-free sourcing evidence at plot level, prepared before it moves.
The existing options: enterprise consultancies (expensive), spreadsheets (fragile), or ignoring it (dangerous — penalties of at least 4% of EU turnover, Art. 25).
Our position: screening is decision-support, not certification. We organize the evidence; you keep the judgment. That restraint is deliberate — it’s the product.
